my little city has both .... 10 pin and 5 pin..... and roller skating and ice skating. not real popular, except for the ice skating place... and I am way down south... the ice skating is very popular.
There be bowling and skating for ye land lubbers.
Better answers will come if we know yer longitude and latitude or ye port o' callin'
Yes they have.
No, they're not popular. At least, not as much as in the US (if I can believe the TV).
There are ice skating rinks that get popular at different times of the year, especially with the kids.
Will you have them in the city you're going to.... maybe.
I don't remember ever seeing a roller rink, lot's of ice rinks though.
And most decent sized cities would have bowling.

There still are roller rinks in USA? Where? Is it 1987 again? I was under the impression that they went the way of the drive-in theaters; disappeared.
Haven't ever seen a roller skating rink in PRC. There are plenty of ice skating rinks though, as mentioned above.
Bowling exists, but is not very popular.
You ou migt want to just ask your lady friend about the specific city; China is pretty big, and not everywhere has the same stuff.

come on spider, yes there are still roller rinks in the US maybe not as much as 20 years ago i mean skateboarding is still around same concept but with fewer wheels and on 1 single platform not two Sure there are also some drive in theaters few but there are not many left but still a few being used
Spiderboenz:
Have not seen an operating roller skating rink since 1992.
cub:
spider, i would cassify a drive in theater as ''low tech'' old idea but still works
Euthenia:
drive-in theaters haven't disappeared yet in America. We have three still operating up in my home state of Connecticut :D
The bigger cities have, as for the smaller ones some do and some don't.
All the things mentioned arn't that popular in the main stream .
Most cities have big concrete Squares that the kids use roller blades and play dodge with the dancing Aunties .
Havent seen any Skateboards or BMX bike bowles like in the west .
