OK, I am really mad at this Chinese douchebag.
My bestie was in a 4 year long relationship with him and finally they are engaged and set the wedding date, invited everyone and got everything set up. Then right before the wedding she found out that she was pregnant. But they never had sex coz they are traditional Chinese and no sex before marriage, and she admitted the baby was not his. So he canceled the wedding.
WTF? This guy wasted so many years of her life and where's the love? Just because the baby is not his? What does he see women as, baby machines? If he loves the woman, he should love her for who she is, not care about whose baby it is and certainly not to cancel the wedding in the last minute.
She was of course, heart -broken. I told her to not to worry and find a foreign man next time. They are more open-minded and would even go for none-virgins, single mothers and people who cannot give birth; and they will certainly marry her under such circumstance. She felt relieved.
So, what do you guys say? Sorry to disgust you with the narrow minded Chinese guy, ugh, I don't even wanna talk about him. And pls pm me for more info if you are interested in marrying my bestie.

Thanks detectives. This story is not about my friend.
I read it on a Chinese forum the other day and was very shocked. So I decided to share it with you guys.
Sponge, can this be your idea of an April Fool's joke?
Isn't getting married supposed to be confirmation of trust, fidelity, unity, and lifelong companionship? Where's your Bestie's sense of commitment if she is out making a baby with some other guy shortly before getting married? If the groom-to-be was cheating on your Bestie before the marriage and impregnated someone else, you'd tell your Bestie to dump him, right? Where is her expression of love if she is out screwing around with someone else instead of saving herself for marriage (if virginity was mutually important)? That's some sense of traditionalism and "no sex before marriage" she has.
This isn't a question of being narrow-minded or open. This is about personal character, respect and commitment with your partner, and having an honest relationship. Many Western people can accept children that are not theirs, but they don't necessarily have to give up their other character values doing so.
I understand sympathizing with your Bestie and giving her your support, but what are you doing with this post besides pimping for her?
tomcatflyer:
Totally agree Jean. She was not traditional and she proved her love by fu**ing another guy, which of course proved how much could trust her, 0%. What about his time she wasted, he thinks he is getting married to a girl he loves and finds out what she is really like. He did the right thing.
Was she the one who shagged Booberry? What a coincidence.

Don’t lie. You don’t have a “bestie.”
ambivalentmace:
are bestie's and fwb's the same thing, you young folks confuse me some times.
I don't buy this story because at the first sign of an unwanted pregnancy, the Chinese girl/woman in question would be straight off to the nearest abortion clinic and any person who might know would be sworn to silence.
Not only that, but any of the Chinese girls i knew would deny that they would ever have an unwanted pregnancy this, because 'traditional girls' don't have sex.
Along with cosmetic surgery, which Chinese girls will deny having, despite obvious evidence to the contrary, no Chinese woman would want this EVER to get out.
Shame on a 'best friend' who would ever gossip like this, even if it is true or anonymous, so i say this is a lame Aprils Fool 'joke'
What happened to Admins April fool gag ?
I thought it was nice to see he had a sense of humor
icnif77:
Admin's thread was 'euthanised' by other, stronger 'guanxi' Admin!, i.e 'my cat is bigger than your cat-cat ...'
I commented earlier about 'changing of the rule ''Admin's comments require mandatory 'down' vote ...''.
philbravery:
Well at least his job is safe....nobody else would want it
Blondie_:
could it be some of the new 'posters' don't have a sense of humour?

My comment begins ....

Was it 'who's more influential ...' or was it a glitchy-da-glitch?
I suspect, Phil has a lot-of-pull here ...

Sponge, you totally disappointed hi2.
And it looks like Spider and Blondie were right (which means your ex-Bestie Victoria was also right).
Don't copy and paste drivel. We get enough of that from another member.
Surely you can do better than this.
Thanks god you don't have such friends.
That man is woke, and it was the right move not to marry her. She is pregnant from another man so she obviously cheated on him and he has no obligation to take responsibility for another man's child.
I don't buy all the nonsense back home that fatherhood is defined by living under the same roof, fatherhood is defined by biology and nothing else. Not my genes, not my child, not my problem, period.
That girl has no honor, she cheated on her fiance before their wedding and still pretends to be traditional. Now she should bear the consequences of her actions. Hopefully the man never returns.
It's not even a question of being open minded, it's a question of trust and honesty, which is what marriage is all about. That girl proved to her fiance that she can't be trusted, why should he marry her?
