Q: divorce question advice
Married a Chinese girl few years back and has not worked out, hence the question title. So we both abroad and live in the U.K thinking about moving to Hong Kong can i divorce there or do i need to do by the U.K? Anyone had any expereince?

married in china or uk? ... if married in china.. then divorce also in china... i believe...
in china divorce is no big deal... one day job.. but both partners shoul dbe in agreement

Generally speaking, you can divorce in any place where you are a bona fide resident. Usually, you do not need to go to the place you were married in to get a divorce. However, some countries do not accept this, so I would advise consulting an attorney.
You will need to divorce in the UK. You might be travelling but if that's what you want you'll need to go back for about 30 days. This is also something to consider if you ever meet another girl outside of the UK, the UK requires some unusal paperwork when asking for permission to marry abroad
