Q: If a foreigner guy hold a Chinese girl's hand, Do you think he takes her as girl friend ?

My friend had a bike riding day with a an American guy. That day, this guy held my friend's hand like a lover. But my friend really doesn't know how to define this. And he also asked whether he could  kiss my friend or not . My friend said no.  Because she was not sure whether that was a date or not ?

So what do you think a date should be ? Does holding hands count ?

Hahaha yes. Either he likes her or he just wants sex. I hate games, i just make everything open. Just ask him directly. Whats going on?

If he sais he likes her and wants to see her, then your in.

If he isnt very direct talking things like " well see what happens" theres a chance he just wants to touch a boob.

er...i hate men being like that. they kissed, and left..

well,If he takes her as girlfriend what will happened?

If he not ,so what?

I think, it is doesn’t matter what he thinking. But what in your friend mind? Does she really like him and enjoy the time with him?

he do and Willing to make she fill happy and comfortable?

and she do same things to him?

if two people spend  time together and both fill good and happy , don t  think to much  ,just let it go it way.

Thank you ! Good idea.

she should just do what he asks.  He probably knows best.  if she doesn't could miss her chance.

A western man will only hold the hand of a child, or a woman he is in a relationship with. He obviously considers your friend to be a girlfriend or at least he wants her to be his girlfriend.

It means he is interested in her (you? ) but it does not make a couple yet, in my opinion. They are a couple when they decide so (or when he introduces your friend to his mates as an important person.
Also, if they're spending time together, alone, doing fun stuff and he wants to kiss her... that's a da

MissA:

Doesn't automatically make them a couple, but it does mean a strong level of interest.

What else he wants to grab? Holding hands doesn't explain the context in full.

and tongue kiss too.

May be more open people does this and don't care what others think about them.

so others may think wrong as Chinese old people are more traditional but foreigners are open minded.

Tell her to leave a few love notes on his desk after class, and maybe they'll get their first kiss during prom night!

A: No, it's not allowed to work under RP at 2nd job! I'd say, Z visa
A:No, it's not allowed to work under RP at 2nd job! I'd say, Z visa/RP sponsor can have an objections to your part-time job. I did the same at my English teaching in China and elsewhere, butT ... I casually mentioned at my prime job, some kindergarten or another school asked me to work with them part-time. Then, my Q: "Is that permitted?" ...  Answer from RP sponsor was always "Yes, but you can't be late or miss the classes at our school ..." with my reply: "No, our work schedule has a priority, and I'll arrange classes at kindergarten only in my free time." When I cleared that, I was undertaking any extra teaching hours at other schools and private students in my free time.Sometimes, teachers at my prime job asked me if I'm willing to have some extra classes elsewhere.I accepted after the talk with School's principal. I suggest, you test the felling at your Z/RP sponsor and once you see they don't object, you can work at 2nd job. Keeping your 2nd job as a secret from your employer won't work, 'cause you're laowai and Chinese know exactly what you do in your free time. However, despite your employer's agreement for extra work, you are still in violation of Chinese Labour law, and even if your sponsor agrees to your extra work, you can still get in trouble, because it's clearly written (somewhere ... ) that under Z/WP, one can work only at the Z-sponsor and nowhere else. Penalties ... I'd say, there won't be any warnings and you'll be required to exit China in short Exit time.It never happened to me, so I can't really advice how is when manure hits the fan ...  -- icnif77
