Q: Left Handedness in China?

Dumb question I know...but,

I always heard that in China, (as well as other countries) left handedness was considered unacceptable, and lefties were forced to learn to write right handed...Is this still the case in China today or are people more accepting of lefties?

The parents are still pretty big on "teach" their child the proper hand to use. But the average person on the street would pay enough attention to notice if someone is a leftie. I get bored and switch hands I use my chopsticks with all the time and most don't notice.

the proper hand is the hand you choose to write with. china is behind the times as always and still forces children to use the right hand
