First of all, I don't know this is a good idea.
I got 2 friends in China who wants to start their own private tutoring school with me as the teacher. We made some plans and I felt its good.
I want to ask you guys about the procedures to start the private tutoring business.
How many students can 2 teachers handle?
What are the expenses considered in-order to start the business?
what about my visa?
How much can i charge one student?
Is it legal to start the private tutoring business in the name of a native Chinese guy?
The current plan is like this;
You might feel our idea is stupid, correct me if i am wrong.
3 hours per day
150 RMB per student
3 sessions, 1 hour each
6 days a week

read the anonymous post I wrote 2 weeks ago and you will get your answers
this way you get to do your own home work
I would suggest you read my post under the anonymous post to get a good answer. And again, right now is not the time to mess around with illegalities, wait 6 months, your visa will by far be the largest problem.
1. first and the most important step....get your private school license (it is not easy, especially the specific requirement about venue size and number of teachers..etc.
2. register a company with reasonable capital (500K or more, or no bank will let you open a biz account..haha)
3. marketing and fees are not the biggest problem opposed to sustain the biz in a long run.....so start off small and remain focus and expensive might be a good strategy
