Q: Is there any good recognition apps for phones ?

Ok I have used a program on my phone to translate German to English.
It works through the camera by pointing it at the writing and just read the screen.
Is there one out there for the chicken scratches (Chinese characters )?

TextGrabber for iOS has worked well for me.  It’s available on the Apple. The basic version is free and includes translations for 10 languages including Mandarin and Simplified Chinese. They recently added new features for $3.99, but I haven’t purchased it.
