It wouldn't matter, it's only considered rude because foreign landers aren't clever enough to understand the Chinese culture

Makings loads of freakin' noise especially (but not limited to) eating a meal!
Oh, let's not forget waiting your turn to do something and not barging someone out of the way.
Making the assumption that there is a country called "Foreignland", and making derpy statements like, "In foreign countries, you get married in a Church because foreigners are Christian."
Or for that matter, the obsession with "Waiguo" as a concept, holding that China is the center of the world, and all other countries are defined as "Not China".
Referring to non-Chinese as weiguoren when in their country
A lot of things:
Spitting, eating loudly, talking on your phone loudly, littering.
Remember you are the foreigner, not the other way around.

Nongs know when they are rude, they just don't care because they assume that other people will be pushovers and let their rudeness slide. Don't believe me? See how defensive EVERYONE gets when you mention standard rudeness as a 'culture difference' in an English Corner. Spitting, pushing, talking rudely about people in front of their faces....everyone in the EC will be up in arms in about 5 minutes. They will tell you that only a 'small minority' of people do it, and yet, it is everywhere.
It's not cultural relativism. It's typical selfishness overriding decency.
cub:
@ rachel, dont forget its also the lack of morality having morals of having no morals it starts from that thats where right wrong and decency comes from! Ok EEC members, ready for the other shoe to drop please!
The #1 ongoing thing that trips me out and I truly believe would trip out 95% +/- of the people in my country (US) is the WAY THAT THEY SPEAK SO LOUDLY. I STILL CAN'T QUITE FIGURE OUT THE REASON WHY BEHIND THIS, THEY ARE LIKE 1 METER AWAY FROM ONE ANOTHER BUT THEY SPEAK LIKE THEY ARE TALKING TO DEAF GRANPA ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROOM.
strangest thing I've seen... (on balance)
