Q: Whatsapp is blocked

I just noticed that my whatsapp is blocked. Are they going to cut off china from the outside world? Are they going to make China the second North Korea? So what is the next? I guess the Chinese government will block skype soon.

That is really a bad idea to block those social media app, chinese just complain about the government, I do not think most people will try to against the government as long as we have the job and food to eat. The government shouldn't be so worried about having the citizen heard the voice of the outside world.

Worst case, the Chinese government may try to keep chinese from visiting other countries, so I firgure it will be harder to get visa for Chinese and for foreigners. Luckily I got my 10 years US visa on 2015, otherwise I am afraid it won't be lucky for me to get it anymore.

The chinese givernment may also probally forbid chinese from marrying foreigners? Do you think it is possible?

I need to immigrant to another country soon before all those shits happen to me, but what if the government does not let me come back to china to visit my parents and sisters if I immigranted to another country??

Are they trying to cut off PRC?

Let me do a quick Google to check.   Oh, right, can't use google.

I'll check and see if anyone is talking about it on my Facebook feed.       Shit!  It's blocked too!

Maybe I can find a YouTube video about this.        WHAT?!

Hmmm...  I should check a Chinese news source, perhaps.   Let's see what SCMP or Shanghaiist have to say about it.              NOOOOOO!

I have to Tweet about this!

I'm guessing it is something to do with President Trump's planned visit?  Yeah, I often think PRC is pretty damn authoritarian.  Weird living in a place like that, but I guess it always has been Authoritarian in one form or another.  I'm not an expert on that sort of subject, but it just seems like they (the government) can do anything they want to do and no one can do anything about it.  Like Castro running Cuba back in the day.

An English saying comes to mind Viki;

"don't worry about what you can't change"

 since the convention...  my VPN works fine after numerous updates.  but shen on vpn I cannot access ECC or China daily or xinhua or any other site in China.................no problem with the international places.   turn VPN off and surprise surprise...  I can now see China.

mostly I just do not see the point.       where there is a will there is a way...........  guess I will be looking for a way for a while after this.

That service doesn't allow third-parties to monitor the dickpics and what not, so they've got to go.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment.It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
