I started in 1984. Last thing I remember... August 12th 1984... caught a nice trout in the river devon... went to the pub to celebrate.

Been swicthing pubs ever since.

I think I am in a Chinese pub now. The wife seems to say that. Wonder if the London wife is still waiting for me to come home from the red lion... think I went there in 98 or 99. Woke up in Puerto Rico. New york was good...

Life is too short to plan to start.

I plan to keep going till it ends...

Then all you suckers who saved will have to pay my social security...

But you wont of course... just added that as a windup

icnif77:

Once, I phoned home from pub .... and wanted to tell I will be late for dinner. My dad lifted up the phone and listen ..... then, I heard my mum's voice in the back '... where is he?' and my pop asked: 'Where are you?'

me: 'I don't know ....!'

It was close to some NY and they just wanted to know how long is going to take me to come home ....

There's never really a bad time to get on it so I say Dec 26.

Just don't come wearing your xmas hat cos nobody wants to think about Christmas unless it is Christmas.

Christmas is about family. So according to me, December 24th to December 26th should be complete family time. Go out and party all you want before and after these days.

A:Good question!  I'd say, if you study at Uni in China beside working full-time as an E.T. with Residence permit, you don't interfere with your full-time employment. It's your free time and you can do anything you want, with respect to the Chinese laws and customs. Have a look at terms of Z visa/Residence permit and ... ".. you cannot work (and earn monies!) with another employer ..."That's all it is! Your RP sponsor title is written on the RP stamp in your passport, I think. It's in Mandarin, so I've heard about that from someone ...At I.D.-ing by cops, they know where you work and than more details about you are just a phone call away ... and it happened in person ... LOL ... during the day-time stroll through Wulumuqi, Xinjiang, 2012/13 semester. Now under RP, you're free to surf Internet, jog, ... and study, too. I suggest, you look and ask at the Uni, you plan to study in the future. Have a detailed look at requirements for studying and attending chosen Uni.Good luck! -- icnif77
