Go to this WEB site or just walk down the street with a sign!! There are millions of places where you can get a job
A professional teacher of English and maths, u can teach in most colleges in China...
So easy for u to find a job here...
You can teach anywhere you want. Really. Its all a matter of your preference. Especially if that pic really is you.
However, since you are British I would recommend you choose a school/program that teaches British English. Its not really THAT important. But it will save you a lot of time and energy later on when you are asked to teach American grammar and vocabulary.
Andy, before you come it maybe a good idea to get a TESOL cert IV. Teaching in China is not like teaching in a native english speaking school. The main thing is don't come here with grand expectations, you will find your lesson plans will be different, also get to know your students. You may be their first foreign teacher they have even seen!
You will get a job anywhere with your quals. Our school is recruiting for next term now and we teach British English. It really depends on where you want to live in China and what type of school you want to teach in. Put yourself out there and wait for the responses then choose.
Hello, I am the Teaching Staff manager at EET-Baotou. I am in charge of recruiting foreign teachers for our school and I also act as the teacher/staff liason person. I have been at EET-Baotou 2 years and I am starting my third. We have 3 openings available. You may contact me at: teachingbaotou@yahoo.com if you are interested in joining our team. I will reply to you with contract details. I am from America and I am quite happy here.
Just decied which city you want to live in,then look up International schools in said city, job offers will arrive especially if your not after work in Beijing or Shanghai
What the others said, but...
Check out the school before you sign!
With your quals, you get to be VERY picky.... pick wisely! Check the forums for advice, and if it smells iffy, DON'T!
You WILL get a job here - make sure it's one that suits YOU!
If you're an actual teacher check out the international schools. Then you can teach proper high school, not just English. The pay is real as well.
If you end up teaching at a school that uses an American curriculum, say "math," not "maths."
Check just about any city with an international school. Smaller tier cities often try to "get by with less", so you may be able to teach both at one school if you have the qualifications. I'm assuming you're from the UK/Aus/NZ or somewhere in Europe (due to the "maths" reference), so it shouldn't be too much of a problem to find something.
On a side note, we Americans don't say "maths" - it's a non-countable plural already - the same reason we don't say "|breads" or "milks". No offense meant, but it's just one of those language differences that I like to point out because I'm bored.

I think it comes from the 'mathematicS' - hence 'mathS' for short... makes perfect sense to me!
