They happen to be the exact opposite of theirr women. The men are very shy more than the women.
1. Due to over-controlling but emotionally disinterested parents, Chinese people are not adequately socialised as children. They don’t develop social confidence, self-determination, or the ability to engage with others on a personal level.
2. Chinese boys don’t get the opportunity to try things when they are young (whether camping, building things, fiddling with cars, playing musical instruments, reading books, etc…), and therefore never discover things they are good at or interested in.
As a result, they don’t have a strong sense of self (i.e. confidence in their own abilities and personality). Individualism, after all, is the most evil of Western values.
Having your own interests and abilities which you are confident in (whether physical or intellectual) is sexy. In this department, Chinese boys can only look upon Western males and despair.
3. Teenage Chinese boys can’t have normal relationships with girls. Dating is prohibited until university, at which time they still have no privacy. Male humans are embarrassingly bad at relationships by default, and need to have a series of girlfriends to gradually hone their skills.
Chinese boys, however, do not go through this process during middle school and high school, and by the time they start dating, have been taught to never analyse or acknowledge their own shortcomings. Most will get married without ever learning what girls want. Which brings us to…
4. Most Chinese men never grasp the value of emotional engagement. Most foreign men want to satisfy women on an intimate, personal level (Chinese girls rarely get emotional sustenance from their families, or encounter anyone who has interest in them as a unique person). It’s too scary for Chinese boys, who would prefer to do some pitiful romantic gesture on Valentine’s Day, then go back to League of Legends because it’s less emotionally daunting.
Qualities (aside from money) which are generally considered desirable in men:
Emotional maturity
Calm self-assurance
Ability to express intelligent opinions
Competence at things
Physical strength
Qualities from the above list which the average Chinese man possesses:

That’s why Chinese boys are shy.
They were inspired by "Shy Guy" (Diana King):
"I don't want no fly guy, I just want a shy guy"
Shyness is not necessarily a bad quality for a guy. It can be adorable.
They are not shy.... they just have zero personality (90% of them)... u can still find some real guys here and there.
The rich ones generally aren't shy, the middle class to lower income (apart from the village idiots) are usually shy.
